Introduction and How to Apply

Thank you very much for your interest in our Group Chair Designate and Non-Executive Director posts. On the following pages, you will find details of the roles and the selection process to assist you in completing and tailoring your application.

The Non-Executive Director posts will commence from 1 April 2019 with an initial one-year term of office. The Group Chair Designate position may commence earlier. However, we would like successful candidates to be able to engage in induction with the organisation in February and March 2019. In particular we would like the Group Chair Designate to be able to liaise closely with the Interim Group Chair to allow for a successful handover.

If you wish to apply for both positions, please provide two separate supporting statements (see point 2 below).

In order to apply you should submit:

  • All candidates to provide an up-to-date CV which shows your full career history;
  • All candidates to supply a supporting statement explaining why you are interested in the role(s), detailing how you are a good candidate for the post(s) and how you fulfil the person specification(s) - we recommend that this is no longer than three pages;
  • Please indicate on your supporting statement if you cannot attend the interview date; 
  • A completed declarations form
  • Completion of the equalities monitoring form is not mandatory; this is requested for monitoring purposes in line with our commitment to equality and diversity.
